Love Won't Wait (2018)

Wan Shicheng had a humble beginning from a street food stall, working his way up and eventually opened the largest restaurant in town, the "Prosperous Family", after forty years of hard work. However, at the height of his career, he faces serious troubles at home. His eldest daughter, Wan Jialing (played by Cecilia Cheung), lost her son three years prior, and has since been getting cold shoulders from his husband Song Qiaozhi (played by Vanness Wu) and getting bullied by her mother-in-law Zhang Yizhen. His daughter-in-law Zheng Qingtian has been selflessly committed to taking care of the family and the restaurant, yet her husband, Sicheng's eldest son Wan Jiale, betrayed her. Sicheng's youngest daughter Wan Jiani has no plan to get married, yet had a one night stand with rich guy Lee Zimin and got pregnant. Shicheng's wife Chen Shuying was upset with the selfish way Shicheng deal with his children and decided to run away from home. These challenges forced the Wans to grow, they've learned to reflect on their past mistakes and appreciate what they have now. In the end, they helped each other to get through these challenges and achieve a happy ending together.
