Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man - January 29, 2025
The MCU is starting 2025 strong with the animated Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man premiere on January 29. The series will mark the first time the MCU has explored Spider-Man’s (Hudson Thames) origin story, taking viewers back to 15-year-old Peter Parker’s early hero days.
Daredevil: Born Again - March 4, 2025
Netflix’s critically acclaimed Daredevil is receiving an MCU canon reboot with Daredevil: Born Again. Set to premiere on March 4, the show will see the return of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil as he comes up against iconic foes Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) once more.
Ironheart - June 24, 2025
Following her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams is getting a solo series, Ironheart, set to premiere on June 24. The show will delve deeper into her story and Iron Man-esque suit of armor, as well as mark the live-action debut of The Hood (Anthony Ramos).
Dexter: Resurrection - Summer 2025
The Dexter franchise will expand in the summer of 2025 with the highly anticipated sequel to Dexter: New Blood, Dexter: Resurrection. While plot details are unknown, the series will see the return of Michael C. Hall’s iconic vigilante serial killer and pick up directly after the events of Dexter: New Blood.
The Last of Us season 2 - Early - Mid 2025
Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsay) will return in The Last of Us season 2 to continue their fight for survival amid an outbreak of a fungal infection that turns humans into zombie-like creatures. The new season is expected to adapt the video game The Last of Us Part II and is aiming to premiere within the first half of 2025 to meet the eligibility window for the 2025 Emmy Awards.
Wonder Man - December 2025
The MCU will finish its year on the small screen with Wonder Man, slated for release in December 2025. The series marks the live-action debut of Simon Williams (a.k.a. Wonder Man), an actor-turned-superhero. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will take on the mantle of Wonder Man, and the show will also see the return of the Mandarin fraudster Travis Slattery (Ben Kingsley).
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight - Late 2025
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the second prequel in the Game of Thrones and follows the exploits of Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his squire Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell).
Alien: Earth - TBD
After over 45 years, the Alien and follows a young woman, Wendy (Sydney Chandler), who investigates a mysterious vessel that crash-landed on Earth.
Andor season 2 - TBD
Andor, the prequel series to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will return for a second season on Disney+. After season 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger, season 2 will continue following the exploits of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) as he rises from a petty thief to one of the most prominent figures in the Rebellion.
Stranger Things season 5 - TBD
After a three-year wait, Stranger Things season 5 is finally expected to arrive in 2025. Following the cliffhanger ending of season 4, the new season will follow the residents of Hawkins as they prepare for the return of their biggest foe yet and experience the Upside Down in a new way.
