Final Destination Bloodlines (2025)

As fans ourselves, we wanted to make sure that "Final Destination Bloodlines" was an incredibly good movie for fans, but in a way that still allowed them to not know what was going to happen next. The "Final Destination" formula works so well, but it also creates a little bit of predictability. We wanted to find a way to freshen that up so fans would have that experience of being right on the edge of their seats along with newcomers. And for newcomers, we made the movie so they could dive right in without feeling like they missed a beat.

Final Destination Bloodlines" feels so big and intricate. I had no idea how we were gonna film it, but I was excited. This movie is all about shock value. If you want to be on the edge of your seat -- and who doesn’t want that? -- then this is a movie that’ll definitely satisfy that craving.

Final Destination Bloodlines has *huge* implications for the franchise. It serves as both a prequel and sequel, and its shocking finale needs to be seen. Plus, it has one of my favorite opening disasters in the entire franchise, with the epic collapse of the Skyview tower (clearly inspired by the Seattle Space Needle). If you want to dive deeper into the lore of Final Destination or just love the wild carnage the series is famous for, you’re gonna love Final Destination Bloodlines.

Rising from the dead after fourteen years of dormancy, the Final Destination series is back with an all-time great entry in the form of Final Destination Bloodlines. Expanding the lore in interesting ways while finding creative new death scenes, Final Destination Bloodlines is the perfect balance of the earlier films' blend of macabre comedy, gnarly visual effects, and surprisingly compelling characters. Elevated by a a moving final appearance by horror legend Tony Todd, Final Destination Bloodlines is both a great entry point and a wonderful return for the franchise.
